Chad Ochocinco Cut From Miami Dolphins Following Domestic Violence Arrest
Things just got more humiliating for Chad Ochocinco. According to a source the receiver has been let go from the Miami Dolphins, one day after he was arrested for allegedly head-butting his wife, Evelyn Lozada.
Ochocinco was released from custody Sunday (Aug. 12), and missed practice with the Dolphins.
Following the altercation, the team released a statement that they were "aware" of the incident but "in the process of gathering all the relevant information." A piece of that "information" may have been a report that the 34-year-old said he didn't "give a f-ck" about his career during the argument with Lozada, which occurred after she found a receipt for condoms, possibly belonging to her husband.
Ochocinco was dropped by the New England Patriots in June, and joked on Twitter that Lozada would have to take care of him.“Aww baby you got cut @ochocinco I got your back! I'm the bread winner now, which means I make the rules! #Boom,” she wrote back.
He was picked up by the Dolphins soon after.
In an ironic twist, the couple's VH1 reality show will premiere next month, and will showcase their relationship, and trip down the aisle.
