Rak Batum(Rock Bottom) Since the age of seven, Rak Batum has strived to perfect his craft of becoming a hip-hop artist. Born in South Jersey, he followed the careers of Eric B. and Rakim, Jay Z, Nas, KRS One, Masta Ace, Melly Mel, Craig G, and the list goes on. As the son of a dead hustler and surviving widow, Rak Batum channeled most of his energy to the art of lyricism. His creativity is an outlet and was therapeutic in his upbringing and transition into manhood.
